The Pathmaker Internship provides hands-on experience to high school and college-level students interested in pursuing careers in all fields of the health care industry. Pathmaker interns serve alongside health care professionals in many facets of the industry, working together to provide patient support under the guidance of staff in the provision of a safe, comfortable and confidential environment.

Institute of Behavioral and Clinical Health (IBACH)
IBACH’s mission is to build the evidence-base of behavioral, social, cultural and built environmental factors associated with health disparities, and methods for ameliorating these factors through innovative interventions. We work collaboratively with partners and their organizations, and use these opportunities to train the next generation of researchers and practitioners.

Volunteers in Medicine (VIM)
Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) San Diego is a nonprofit medical clinic serving low-income, uninsured families in San Diego County, California. We care for people who do not qualify for Medicare and have no insurance of any kind.
They are always looking for volunteers with a variety of skills and experience from doctors, nurses, support staff, receptionists, to interpreters (just to name a few). |
